These hinges are designed to surface mount on the
window trim,
with the shutter closing onto the face of the trim.
When open, the inside edge of the shutter is 1-1/2" from the house,
with the outside edge resting against the house.
These hinges are painted mild steel, and have not been
plated.

This hinge is a pintle type hinge,
with the surface plate offset to one side
so that it can be mounted close to the edge
of the trim board.

x 1-1/2" angle,
5/16" round bar & 1/2" round tube.
